Neji is Hinata’s cousin and initially a fatalistic view on life, believing that all events are inevitable and predetermined. After being defeated in a battle by Naruto Uzumaki, Neji had a change of view on life. He saw how Naruto managed to improve himself against the odds and this gave Neji a more positive outlook on his own life.
