Within team 7, Sai is suffering from solitude. Since he was adopted from the orphanage and heavily trained to serve konoha interests, he had likely very less contact with social lifes. He gradully grow up being introvert. Being introvert personality, he never showed interest in expressing himself nor any dominance over other team members – it is just a misunderstanding within team 7 that left him alone within the team.
