Sasori is a member of Akatsuki and seen as a person with little empathy towards humans. This is because of the brutal way his parents were killed by Sakumo Hatake when Sasori was just five years old. He then learned the art of making puppets from his grandmother, Chiyo, and went on to become a master of puppetry.
